This SRI release is heavy on distortion and atonality, and tends to play with silence (in awkward and/or satisfying ways). At least two of these bangers have been stewing for a year or so, waiting for the right injection of juice or drapetomania to push them over the finish line. A few songs eventually dig-in to find a groove, while most appear content to drone-on (as the saying goes, patience is a virtue) and tweak-out in discomforting fashion. One or two tracks (which shall remain unnamed) are among the best ever to grace an SRI album, while another is surely a stupid mistake that ought never have been made. In other words, "GRIND IT OUT" is sure to be a "critics are divided" sort of record.

There's a dozen reasons/interpretations for the album title--you're welcome to hypothesize wildly about it.

Paid political advertisement: Eat the rich. Delete all borders. Defend queer lives. Make every politician unemployable. Decolonize Turtle Island. Provoke white discomfort at American history. Don't just [not] vote. Fight all agents of climate chaos.
