Context: Generally-speaking, there's two kinds of people. First, those who think the world is a scary place filled with villains, dangerous roads, and careless neighbors. Second, those who believe, despite experience and evidence to the contrary, that most people can be trusted, that we have more love in our hearts than hate, and that the only way any of us are gonna make it is if we have each other's backs. The first person cowers in their house, stockpiling weapons and canned foods, wracking themselves with anxiety and drinking-up conspiracy theories. The second person cleans the footprints off their back and wipes away their tears, and leaves their home every day unarmed, hoping for the best. Which one are you?

Music via metaphor: As dense as a self-appointed policeman, obnoxious like a 12-lane highway, Moon-level tweaked-out, more abrasive than razor-blades floating down a river, groove like Dee-Lite on 'shrooms. Just like real-life, this music is patterned and predictable, but also chaotic and suspiciously displeasing. Whoever said music had to inspire and speak to the human condition, apparently only ever reviewed Fugazi albums. C'est la vie.

Methodology: Fat- and nutrient-free. Songs here were cut-up for samples, then re-configured as new movements within the originals.

Footnote: When kernels panic, they bring down entire systems. In the right context, this is absolutely splendid. Google it.
